We haven't unpacked anything—and we won't today, today's our day off—but we're moved. I'm still camping, still living out of a bag like I did while I was in Utah for a week, like I have for the past few days of moving. But now, at least, I'm camping in my apartment (with the exception of the Rose St. apartment in Berkeley, I've been subletting instead of leasing for my entire adult life), and I'm camping somewhere hip.
Last night I slept better than I had in a week, secure in the knowledge that I would not, upon waking, be subject to hours annoying decisions (Do I really need to keep this? I can't just throw it away!) and back-breaking labor (the new place has no elevator, only those lovely sagging rickety brownstone stairs). The experience has left me with only one resolution for the upcoming year: have less stuff at the end of it than I have now at the beginning. Or at least rent some storage somewhere.

- The Historian: I bought it for $5 thinking it was trash. Unfortunately, it turned out to be garbage.
- Juno: Pretty good! Maybe emotionally manipulative at the end. I can't decide if that's a bad thing.
- Contra 4: Making it through level 1 on easy mode without using any continues was the proudest moment of my life. This game is hard as shit. It's also beyond awesome.
